| Waukesha Foundry has developed corrosion-resistant nickel-base alloys that work in contact with many metals without galling or seizing. Approved by the FDA for contact with food, our unique anti-galling alloys are used in applications where daily cleaning or sterilization is required and where lubricants are prohibited. All non-galling testing for requirements certification is conducted on site. WM88 Alloy Offers good strength, superior corrosion resistance and can be used at temperatures up to 500ºF. Ideal for use wherever close clearance with moving parts is required. In compliance with ASTM A494. Markets: Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, Industrial Pumps, Navy Pumps, Industrial Valves, Paper Processing WM23BI Alloy Developed primarily for equipment where sanitation is essential. Higher yield strength and hardness help maintain a sharper edge on blades and similar components. Good corrosion resistance; can be used at temperatures up to 500ºF. Markets: Food Processing WM54C Alloy Designed to withstand temperatures up to 1,600ºF, this alloy provides exceptional corrosion and wear resistance. Self-lubricating qualities make it ideal for valve guides in aircraft engines that must operate in extremely hot temperatures. Markets: Abrasive Cutting, Polymer Processing, Nuclear WM126 Alloy Developed for use in meat-processing plants for form plates, plungers and vane pumps. WM126 is also used for gears, bushings and bearings. This alloy offers good strength and corrosion resistance and can be used at temperatures up to 500°F. Note: This is not a Ni-base. Markets: Meat Processing |
